Setting Up Category Assignments

Setting up category assignments is beneficial when using the QuickBooks export, also when filtering reports by GL Code. It tracks and records everything sold to a specific code. Here are the steps to setting up Category Assignments.

1. Log into the Admin Portal of TeeSnap at, and click on the Accounting tab. To learn more about GL Codes, PLEASE CLICK HERE!

2. Open up the Category Assignment and start entering in the proper GL Codes for each category.

3. When you enter in the code for the main category, and hit save it will automatically fill in the codes for the rest of the items in that category.

4. Once you have assigned GL Codes for all Categories, when running the Quick Book Export report it will categorize everything sold in each category to that specific GL code.
