Making a Customer Inactive

With Teesnap, growing your customer base is always the goal.  In any business, the reality is that sometimes you lose customers for various different reasons.  Teesnap has a means of marking a customer ‘inactive’ thus making their name not present in reports and in customer lists, all the while preserving their data for future use if needed.  

To do so, follow the instructions below.


1. First, on an iPad, bring up the customer you wish to make inactive by searching for them in the customer screen, and selecting the appropriate customer.  Note:  Make sure you choose the correct customer in this step!


   

2. Once the correct customer is selected, simply press the MAKE INACTIVE button near the EDIT CUSTOMER lower left of the screen.  That’s it!  



3. After doing so, you will see that the STATUS now reads Inactive, and you are now only able to find the customer by changing the filter near the search bar from Active Only to either Inactive Only or All.


   

To reactive, simply find the customer by selecting either Inactive Only or All next to the customer search bar, and press Make Active in the lower left of the screen.
