In this article, you will find a brief walkthrough of the Users tab in the Administration Portal (admin.teesnap.com). There are two columns on the users page: Portal Users and Mobile Users. Below is an explanation of what each type of user is.
Portal users are administrators. These individuals will be responsible for the following activities: within Teesnap:
- Golf Course Pricing and Setup
- Inventory Management
- Adding/Inactivating Users
Once you know of a person who should be an administrator, simply click "Add" at the top Portal Users section; type in the person's email address, first name and last name. Once you hit save, an automatic email will be sent with that person's user credentials. You will not be able to delete this Portal User. However, this user can be inactivated.
Mobile users are individuals who need access to the iPad at the point-of-sale. To create a Mobile user, simply hit "Add" at the top of the Mobile Users column. All that's required create a Mobile user is a 4-Digit ID (can be more than 4-Digits), first name and last name.
